We can certainly re-route your shipment to a different address, however, a $15.00 fee will be charged to your account. We ship our wines from a state-of-the art fulfillment center here in Napa and, as you may have experienced, UPS cannot be contacted directly to change the delivery information. This change must be orchestrated by the fulfillment center at our request. We will always put the current shipping address on file within the email for you to verify. To avoid this fee, please let us know what address you would like us to ship to when you receive your Family Cellar Membership notification.
Shipments returned to us
By law your wines must be shipped to an address where an adult (over 21 years old) is able to sign for the delivery. Carriers will make three attempts to deliver your wines and after the 3rd attempt will return your wines to us. At this point these wines are considered ‘damaged’ and cannot be re-shipped or sold. We will then ship you new un-damaged wines at a fee of $25.00 to be charged to your account. To avoid this fee, please let us know what shipping address you prefer so that someone may accept and sign for the delivery.
In the rare event that you receive a broken or flawed bottle we are happy to refund or replace the affected wine. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is broken or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment or wine that was ordered in error.
Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know what was flawed or damaged about the wine and also whether you would like the order to be replaced or refunded.
