The wines of Isabel Mondavi were initially envisioned as "just a few cases for Mom" and, while the label has grown, the wines are still just that - the kinds of wines that Isabel herself enjoys drinking and sharing: flavorful, tastefully made and easy to appreciate.
Isabel, who knows a thing or two about hospitality, has always believed that wine should complement rather than compete with a meal. As her husband Michael puts it, "For Isabel, the most important thing is the people around the table, then the food, and then the wine.  I think her wine style is elegant and sophisticated without taking the spotlight, but rather playing the part of the supporting cast to a perfect dinner."
There are three wines under the Isabel Mondavi mark: Isabel Mondavi Deep Rosé of Cabernet Sauvignon, Isabel Mondavi Carneros Chardonnay and Isabel Mondavi Carneros Pinot Noir.
